ANTI-VIRAL COLLECTION / 「反病毒」系列
Despite the protective shield technological engagement enables, our bodies are still vulnerable to attack.
Anti-Viral is a two part inoculation.
It reflects on both the weakness and strength of modernities power structures that render us susceptible to physical or emotional harm.
Specifically how we judge ourselves on how others engage with us.
Whether it be text, email, or the content we produce, we are constantly measuring our self worth via an arbitrary scale of popularity.
This engagement renders our physical body obsolete as we go through the motions of daily life with our socially directed technological devices connected like a prosthetic limb.
In acknowledging a new multifaceted vulnerability that exists in tandem with our technological and physical presence, Anti-Viral asks us to recontextualize the power/knowledge structures that hold us back metaphysically.
Is an artist, designer and vandal based out of Los Angeles, California.
